Here’s the silver beehive

Where are the bees?

Hiding inside, where nobody sees.

Soon they come a-creeping, out of the hive.

One, two, three, four, five.

Well, three anyway. I’m making a new collection for Primavera.

Huge thanks for all the comments on my third blog birthday giveaway. I will be keeping the giveaway open until Saturday because of the blogger shenanigans.

I have a vintage stitched sampler you'd love… must blog about it this summer.

Oh, that's wonderful. I still adore my little bird BTW, and I've found a whole new way way of wearing it with strappy summer tops – it's hanging on a length of vintage lace at the moment.

Bee keeping – hmm. My brother in law is hoping to get a hive this summer. I don't know if we'll be following him…

I really love this beehive, Emma! I love the beehive image and often use it in embroidery and applique…but I don't have a little silver one like that and I would love one! Will email you.

Beautiful, a lovely English garden image. A chap on our allotments has bee hives and it's amazing to see inside when he lifts the top off.
