Workshop Overview
What happens during my workshops
During my beginners’ silver clay workshops I teach you how to handle, add texture to and make silver clay into beautiful, wearable pendants and charms such as silver fossils (image above shows a silver fossil being made) and casts of tiny found objects and nature finds (see below). I also teach you about the excellent recycled origins of silver clay.
You will go home with between 4 and 7 silver pieces on a sterling chain, often with a gemstone or freshwater pearl or two to highlight your designs. Sometimes people choose to make their charms into earrings. I’ll also hand-decorate a gift box for you to keep your handmade jewellery in.
My workshops cost £105 a head. They start at 9.30 and continue until 1.30 with a break for homemade cake and drinks halfway through. You will take away several finished fine silver pendants in a hand-decorated box.
